Correspondent|ZANU PF Secretary for Administration who is the former Minister of Home Affairs claims that opposotion MDC leader Nelson Chamisa conceded to him that he had lost the presidential election to ZANU PF candidate Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Giving evidence at the on-going Commission of Inquiry into the killings that took place in Harare on the 1st of August, Mpofu said that he spoke to Chamisa on the phone at the time when the registrations that led to the killings were taking place.

“Chamisa conceded to me that he had lost the elections and I have a recording of our conversation as I normally record all calls from suspect callers like Chamisa,” said Mpofu.

He promised to provide the recorded telephone conversation to the secretariat of the commission.
