By Own Correspondent| There was violence in Unit J, Zengeza East constituency Saturday afternoon which left the town’s deputy mayor Jabulani Mthunzi injured.

Mthunzi is currently at Chitungwiza hospital following the violence by a faction allegedly linked to MDC Vice President Elias Mudzuri.

The Zengeza East legislator Goodrich Chimbaira today Saturday allegedly led a gang of youths who went on a violence spree attacking Mthunzi leaving him seriously injured. 

Chimbaira, who according to witnesses was in a fit of rage nearly ran over Mtunzi who had to be rescued by community members in Unit J who witnessed the mob
