Farai Dziva|CAPS United coach Darlington Dodo has said the victory against traditional rivals Dynamos on Saturday will boost the Harare Giants’ confidence as they move towards winning their second league title in four years.
The Green Machine who had suffered inconsistency in the previous games consolidated their top stop on the table with a 1-0 victory over Dembare and moved to 58 points after Match-day 32.
“Grinding results against big teams like Dynamos is sweet for the team and these boys will grow in confidence because they now believe that they can do it, and it’s achievable,” Dodo told a sports publication.
“We just need to keep going, keep working hard and grinding results.”
Newman Sianchali’s first-half goal won the match for CAPS United. The striker headed home Valentine Musarurwa’s cross in the 40th minute of the game.
Makepekepe will face Ngezi Platinum and second-placed FC Platinum in their last two games of the campaign.
