A recent photograph of President Emmerson Mnangagwa that was taken whilst he was in the middle of his presidential wave which appears as opposition party MDC open palm symbol has sent tongues wagging on social media.

The photograph was taken yesterday at the statehouse where he met visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi after interrupting his 3-week annual leave. After the photograph made its way to social media, some mischevious netizens were already claiming that the president was now showing signs of ‘reforming’.
