By Farai D Hove | NCA leader Lovemore Madhuku has inferred the MDC led by Nelson Chamisa is not a political party.
Writing on Tuesday, Madhuku went further to describe parties which are not in Emmerson Mnangagwa’s group of political actors, Polad, as “other citizens.”
To the MDC, Madhuku is:
– a competitor (leader of the NCA party.
– a legal adversary (the lawyer of MDC renegade, Thokozani Khupe).
– An incriminator – prosecutor equivalent, a decision maker in the Kgalema Motlanthe Commission set up to put blame on Chamisa’s MDC party for Emmerson Mnangagwa’s crimes against humanity on the 1st August 2018.
FULL THREAD –
Lovemore Madhuku: Polad is a platform created by political parties. Other citizens may create other platforms. When I criticised the President for not taking the Polad position on the gazetting of constitutional amendments, it was all about engagement. Polad will achieve its objective: engagement.
Nichole: What kind of professor are you though? Engagement without results? Sic
Madhuku: Engagement is in itself an excellent result for the building of our democracy in Zimbabwe.
HouMuza: Engagement is two way. And actions speak louder the words. The snub has spoken. If intentions are pure, the snub should have hurt because there’s lack of two-way participation.
