By A Correspondent- Zanu Pf youth leaders have accused President Emmerson Mnangagwa of failing to plug the corruption hole which was threatening the existence of the Zanu Pf led “sinking ship”.

The youths did not mince their words naming Mnangagwa’s advisor Kuda Tagwireyi as one of the forces behind the country’s economic demise.

Lewis Matutu and Godfrey Tsenengamu said corruption was behind the country’s economic woes adding that failure to plug the leakages had disastrous consequences for the country.

Said Matutu who trashed social media allegations that he was pushing a narrative of the West and its allies:

“I have not been bought by anyone… its all social media.. I am not pushing anyone’s agenda especially not the West…Like we said we are not representing anyone here we are representing ourselves and we decided that we have the right to say what we want.

What we say might be wrong but we choose to speak so we know that after we have spoken there are many things that might end up happening because what we are now doing will make many people angry.

They are going to be furious but we have no clue we do not know what their anger is going to cause or create out of this. We know that all of us are in a ship that is about to capsize we are looking to the one who is leading the ship to come and plug the hole which is bringing the water to our sinking ship…

But the problem is that those responsible are not able to stand up and plug the hole… Also because the majority of us are comfortable to think while we are sitting here because we have achieved so much in life that whatever conditions we have, we are ok.

But we have to remember that the decisions that we make today are crucial to our future… so we decided that whatever we do we have to think Zimbabwe first, our nation is a stake so we have come come to speak about the act of thefts and corruption that is tearing our future, our hopes. …”
