By Own Correspondent| Chipinge based pressure group Platform for Youth and Community Development (PYCD) Director Claris Madhuku has challenged the Zanu PF youth leaders Lewis Matutu and Godfrey Tsenengamu to go beyond words and confront controversial business tycoon Billy Rautenbach whom they accused of bleeding the economy through corrupt operations.

Posting on Facebook, Madhuku said the call by Matutu and Tsenengamu vindicates his organisation which has over the past decade fought Rautenbach over his ethanol business operations which have displaced thousands of Chisumbanje villagers in Chipinge.

“One of the ‘Take Aways’ from the ZANU PF Youth league is that confirmation on the centrality of Billy Rautenbach in the corruption conundrum in the country.

“Whether diversionary or clear determination, some of us who have been shouting from the mountains are genuinely calling for action beyond those words. If Lewis Matutu and Tsenengamu are ready to be our heroes , we invite them to Chisumbanje and Chinyamukwakwa and surely Billy will not last a day,” wrote Madhuku.

He further invited the Zanu PF duo to visit the affected communities urging them to go beyond words if they are genuine in their fight against corruption.

“I am sending an open challenge to the ZANU PF Youth league…”

Addressing the press in Harare yesterday Matutu and Tsenengamu questioned Billy Rautenbach’s monopoly in the ethanol production, further accused the tycoon of selling the sugar-cane made fuel at very high prices.
