Warriors Provisional Squad For CHAN Finals Out

The newly appointed Warriors coach Zdavko Logarusic and his technical team have named a 28 provisional squad for the 2020 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) finals set for 4-25 April in Cameroon.

Preparations will run from 8-18 March when the technical team will shift focus to back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria.

Zimbabwe is drawn in group A with host Cameroon, Mali and Burkina Faso.

The Wariors play in the opening match on the 4th of April againstthe hst host nation Cameroon.

Zimbabwe then face Burkina faso on the 8th at 7pm and final group match against Mali on the 12th again at 7pm.

The provisional squad has Goalkeepers Simbarashe Chinani, Ariel Sibanda, Nelson Chadya, Talbert Shumba. Defenders Xolisani Ndlovu, Qadir Amin, Frank Mukarati, Partson Jaure, Peter Muduwa, Liberty Chakoroma, Ian Nekati, Raphael Muduviwa. Midfielders are Marlon Mushonga, Moses Muchenje, Devon Chafa, Trevor Mavhunga, Kelvin Madzongwe, Phineas Bamusi, Juan Mutudza, King Nadolo, Wellington Taderera, Ishmael Wadi, Valentine Kadonzvo, William Manondo, Kelvin Chibunyu (Cranborne Bullets). Strikers are Prince Dube, Obriel Chirinda and Stanley Ngala.
