Angers have flared in Malawi following the arrival of three Israeli men on an undisclosed mission
The three Israeli who the Malawiam media described as “operatives” have been fully identified.
A letter from Immigration Headquarters in Blantyre, Ref. No. IM/F/10/03/01 dated 2nd March 2020 issues instructions to Officers-in- Charge of both Kamuzu International Airport and Chileka International airport to issue visas upon their arrival.
The three are Aviv Osher travelling using passport no. 39017885, Bar Lev Omer using passport no. 32212418 and Tsairi Marom using passport no. 39023709.
“Approval is granted for the above named persons to be issued ‘Gratis Entry’ single visas on arrival. They are coming to Malawi on the invitation by the State House on a business visit,” reads part of the letter signed a G.A Mtande on behalf of Director General of Immigration and citizen Services Masauko Medi.
While a statement could not be obtained from government, at the time of writing,there was an uproar over their arrival on Wednesday.
Mutharika is facing an election rerun after the country’s top court declared the nation’s election results null and void.
Commenting yesterday analaysts said that the country could become unstable once again.
