Chitungwiza South MDC Alliance Youth Assembly member Lionel Chiota popularly known as Cde Legwan is appearing in court today for commencement of trial at 9 am.

Cde Legwan is being charged with capricious allegations that he trespassed his way into court in solidarity with the Chitungwiza 12 on 03 March 2020.

Our comrade is very innocent as he used the normal designated point to gain entry in the court.

Cde Legwan’s only crime is that he refused to budge to Emmerson Mnangagwa’s overzealous thugs dressed in police robes who on the day in question stupidly made Chitungwiza Magistrates Courts a no go area.

In a struggle, solidarity supercedes positions and solidarity for every comrade is key!

We therefore call upon all our Youth Assembly members to make way to Chitungwiza Magistrates Courts in solidarity with our comrade who is being persecuted for giving solidarity to fellow comrades.

Injure one, injure all!
