OPPOSITION politician and organiser of the July 31 mass protests Jacob Ngarivhume and journalist Hopewell Chin’ono will both spend the night behind bars tonight.

The pair is being accused of conspiring to mobilise anti-Government protests planned for July 31.

The two, who appeared before two different magistrates, were formally charged with “incitement to participate in a gathering with intent to promote public violence, breaches of peace or bigotry.”

In both cases, the prosecution is opposing bail.
