MDC-T Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora says that MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa cried uncontrollably when he beat him to the position of Secretary General in the Morgan Tsvangirai led MDC-T Congress in 2014.

In an interview with Trevor Ncube in the video below, Mwonzora says when he found out that he was winning he asked people to stop the counting. Chamisa was devasted and locked himself in his car.

After his win, Mwonzora claims he asked Tsvangirai to appoint Chamisa in the executive.
