By A Correspondent| According to Feminist Voices of Zimbabwe, women in Nyamapande reported that army forces are detaining women at the road blocks and threatening rape once the day is over.

Posting on Twitter, the organisation said, “A woman at the scene reports that women are being dragged by their hair & verbally abused unapologetically. These are the lives of Zimbabwean women.”

“At this time we are reminded that there are no special protocols for when sexual assault or domestic violence occurs as a result of a police force or army perpetrators. As it stands sexual offenses by army forces are brushed under the carpet and claims are said to be false,” added Feminist Voices.
