The opposition MDC Alliance has said the whereabouts of Tamuka Denhere, pictured, who is the party’s Secretary for Security and Defence for Mkoba District are still unknown.
The party initially reported about his missing on Wednesday saying he had been abducted by state security agents. MDC Alliance posted on Twitter:
MDC Alliance Mkoba District Secretary for Security and Defence, Tamuka Denhere has just been abducted by state agents .His whereabouts are currently unknown. Please RETWEET for awareness.

In an update posted Thursday morning, the party indicated that Denhere was not yet found. Reads the update:
We are still unable to establish the whereabouts of Tamuka Denhere who was abducted by suspected state agents yesterday in Mkoba. We demand his immediate release. Security of person and freedom of torture are Constitutional rights. #FreeTamuka https://t.co/TgMTNWi1ts pic.twitter.com/spUTsi9wCs
