Police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi has dispelled social media rumours that the two suspects in the Chivhu incident on Saturday have been arrested.

Speaking to ZimEye.com in an interview, Assistant Commissioner Nyathi said pictures of two men with one in handcuffs that have been doing rounds on social media are not at all related to the Chivhu incident.

Police have indicated that they are hot on the heels pursuing the matter and official information will be provided as and when it becomes available.
