I hope this letter finds you in good spirit and health. I want to tell you about our exciting adventure and invite you to join us on our fundraising walk from Nottingham, England to Freetown in Sierra Leone.
You can support us by:
• Walking on our behalf or just counting your daily steps and donating it to our course
• Doing the above and getting your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you.

What is the financial target and what will the money be used for?
We hope to raise £1,500 for books, a projector, screen, speakers and a computer
How many steps will we be walking?
There are 4,371 miles between Nottingham and Freetown. We are hoping that we could all work approximately 10,000 steps per day or as many as possible.
How do I collect and submit my steps?
To collect your steps or miles all you need is a pedometer, Fitbit or a health app on your mobile phone.
Please submit your steps or miles to your SoAYL contact on a daily basis.
You can follow our joint progress on our facebook page or Instagram please take loads of pictures whilst you are out and about whether its in a beautiful park, your garden or whilst you are just clocking up your steps in the supermarket or at work and tag us in your photos.
