Organisers of the 31 December cross over gala at Matapi hostels in Mbare, Tinashe Chanachimwe (Dhama) and dancehall producers DJ Fantan, real name Arnold Kamudyariwa and Levels (Tafadzwa Kadzimwe) have entered guilty pleas for breaching Covid-19 regulations over New Year’s Eve party attended by 1000s in Mbare.

The three admitted to breaching Covid-19 regulations and their lawyer has mitigated their conviction by telling the court that they are all first time offenders who should not be taken to jail as they will be exposed to hard core criminals.
