By A Correspondent | The Covid -19 pandemic has continued taking lives around the World and a group of Zimbabweans has initiated the Zimbabwe Hospitals Covid PPE appeal to support the Zimbabwean heroes working in the Healthcare sector. Health professionals need the support of the PPE so they can protect themselves as well as protect the patients they are caring for.
Response to this urgent appeal has been received positively according to Nigel Mujuru Director and Founder of Reliable Parking Management Ltd UK who initiated the appeal together with Princess Eugene Majuru and News of The South.
Within minutes of the launch of the appeal Zimbabwean professionals around the globe responded and currently three whatsapp groups of which two are fully subscribed have been created. The aim is to fully get the nation to rally behind healthcare professionals in the hospitals and provide the much needed PPE then move on to source for any other equipment and other support. All citizens of Zimbabwe and non citizens are urged and win against the deadly historical Covid -19 virus
Simba meats of leicester city UK have come on board and we now have a collection box outside the shop where people can drop off donations of PPE to be shipped to Zimbabwe. The drop off box will be available from tomorrow Monday11th January. The box will be situated outside the shop in the verandah.
