By A Correspondent| City of Harare has mocked residents who illegally built houses on wetlands and now experiencing flooding saying they should remove their structures and apply for proper housing stands.

In a Twitter post two days, City of Harare also urged the illegal settlers to report the land barons who sold them land.

Dear Residents

Those who illegally built on wetlands and are now facing access challenges to their “properties” this is the time to see reason and agree with council. Remove the illegal structures and apply for proper housing land. Report the barons who sold you the land.

This includes those who built on stream and river banks.
