By A Correspondent| The European Union (EU) has renewed its arms embargo and assets freeze against the Zimbabwe Defense Industries (ZDI), citing lack of substantial reforms and continuing human rights violations.

The EU also said it concerned about the arrests of journalists and opposition actors.
