By A Correspondent- | A former Belvedere Teachers College lecturer, Mr Roben Mutwira has died in Leeds, UK.

Mr Mutwira was found dead at his home on Sunday.

The cause of death was not known at the time of writing.

A church report states that he has no biological family connections in the UK.

The full announcement reads:

It is with a very heavy heart and deepest sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr Roben Mutwira on the 7th of March 2021.

Sekuru Mutwira was a much loved, active and respected member of the Leeds United Methodist Church.

As his Christian family, we have committed to ensure that his body is repatriated home so he is laid to rest kumusha as was his wish.

Mr Mutwira does not have biological family here in the UK and we are stepping in that gap as we have been his family over the past few years.

Although Sekuru had a funeral policy, unfortunately it had not yet matured. We appreciate any help that you can afford so that Mr Mutwira can be taken back home at the next possible opportunity.
