By Jane Mlambo| Former Zanu PF politburo member Kudakwashe Bhasikiti has backed Tracy Mutinhiri’s decision to rejoin the ruling party saying had it not been for his dismissal by the late Robert Mugabe he would not have been out of the movement.

Posting on Twitter, Bhasikiti who also quit politics said politicians should retrace their footsteps the same way MDC Alliance dumped PDP and went back to his party.

“I support Tracy’s decision,in the way I support Biti’s move to dump PDP for MDC.Anekwake ngaaende.IF I WASN’T EXPELLED BY RGM 2015,I COULD HAVE BEEN IN ZPF TODAY AS WE SPEAK.Nothing to regret though, as Farming&Feeding the Nation beats both,” said Bhasikiti.

The former MDC Alliance member followed up with another tweet in which he called to order those who were puzzled by Mutinhiri’s return to Zanu PF while applauding Tendai Biti and Welsman Ncube for returning to MDC.

It’s extremely puzzling&ridiculous,to see people crying over Mutinhiri’s return to the base ZPFand applaud the return to MDC by Biti&Welsh.Tell me the difference between these two return scenarios?

Mutinhiri reportedly rejoined Zanu PF after quitting MDC Alliance a year ago.

She once contested for the position of MDC Alliaince vice president Post and lost to Linette Kore.
