Tinashe Sambiri|MDC Alliance councillor for ward 18, Chiredzi West, Gilbert Mutubuki has been granted bail.

Mutubuki was granted bail by a Masvingo Magistrate on Tuesday morning.

Mutubuki is expected to return to court on May 6 2021, according to his lawyer, Martin Mureri.

” RTGS 5000 bail has been granted and Mutubuki will report to the police every Friday between 6am and 6pm.

He should not interfere with witnesses as part of his bail conditions” said Mureri.

Mutubuki is being charged with participating in a gathering with intent to cause public violence.
