By A Correspondent-A Harare magistrate Mr Stanford Mambanje, has deferred a case in which the former president Robert mugabe’s dark horse, and former Public Works and National Housing Minister Ignatius Chombo is seeking the Supreme Court to interdict the lower court from hearing his cases.
Chombo approached the Supreme Court seeking a permanent stay of proceedings in the magistrates’ court, where he is facing several cases involving corruption, fraud and abuse of office.
He was arrested on allegations of wearing regalia emblazoned with President Mnangagwa’s initials, although they had been expelled from Zanu PF.
