Our Secretary for Defence and Security leader Victor Muchavhaira escaped abduction by a whisker at FoodWorld opposite Joina City in Harare when two armed men manhandled him,forced him to the ground and attempted to drag him to a white Isuzu truck which had no number plates.The abduction was foiled by alert citizens who heeded his cries for help and rushed to his aid.
Ldr Muchavhaira,a fearless MDC Alliance cadre who was arrested last year for taking over the MDC Alliance Headquarters the Harvest House from the Mwonzora outfit before the State reassisted mwonzora to flush them out using the court is neither fazed nor scared by this cowardly act by the regime but is emboldened to fight it to the end so that such an act of gangsterism will not be found in the New governance culture of the New Zimbabwe.
The abduction attempt is clear testimony of the capture of the securocrats by the mafiaso which has declared war on all discerning voices and a brazen attempt to silence the voice of reason and ultimately crush Dissent.
The Regime is busy strategising on how to annihilate the opposition and silence the voice of reason than to strategize on how to transform the nation’s Political and socio-economic misfortunes.They are investing millions of dollars to fight President Chamisa and the MDC Alliance yet the people are languishing in abject poverty.
Now that the Regime has failed to eradicate poverty it is now focussing and strategising to eradicate the poverty stricken masses.
This is a clear testimony of incompetent and evil Rulers.
As People’s leaders and God’s servants we shall not be intimidated by such cowardly and barbaric acts by bullies who use state resources to muzzle the people’s voices,silence the voices of reason and fight unarmed innocent citizens whose only crime is to ask for checks and balances from the Regime as empowered by the National Constitution.
We shall continue to fight for the people and the nation nomatter how dangerous it may become.
We are alive to the fact that freedom does not come on a silver platter.
We are also concious of the fact that The struggle is not a bed of roses.
This further exposes the Regime’s insincerity to change the governance culture which has been characterised by abductions,harrasment,abitrary arrests and intimidations of opposition members.
However,we would like to catergorically make it clear without any equivocation or ambiguity whatsoever that if they’re to abduct one of us, they’ll have to abduct us all and if they’re to kill one of us, they’ll have to kill all of us!!!
We pledge undying loyalty to the people’s cause and are ready to pay the ultimate price.
