By A Correspondent- Members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police today lockdown Chitungwiza and delayed hundreds who were coming from the dormitory city to Harare for work.

The police held the few who were patient enough to wait at Manyame bridge where they had mounted a roadblock.

“Chitungwiza police are causing meyhem with their block at manyame Bridge. Today it was chaos with vehicles spending over an hour on the bridge. Is that safe engineers, why would you delay vehicles by over an hr when operating hrs are now limited. You are costing the economy,” posted one of the frustrated residents.
