Mnangagwa Maintains Strict Covid-19 Restrictions
14 July 2021
By A Correspondent- President Mnangagwa last night extended the Covid19 induced level 4 lockdown by another two weeks citing an increase in infections and deaths.
In an address to the nation on Tuesday evening, Mnangagwa said the country will use the extended lockdown to vaccinate a targeted one million people.
He said mechanisms to enforce the lockdown were being strengthened after the realisation that some members of the public were violating regulations, most of them taking advantage of the night to embark on the banned intercity travel.
