By A Correspondent | A top suspect linked to the murder of seven-year-old Murehwa boy Tapiwa Makore (Junior) last September, Moud Hunidzarira, has been released from prison.
Hunidzarira was arrested last November and he release comes at a time when there is a media blackout over the investigation.
She was arrested in Budiriro following a tip-off by the public and is alleged that when the murder occurred, she was in Murehwa and a few days later was seen by some neighbours in Harare, cleaning an item that had blood.
Her release also comes at a time when several police officers were seen receiving beer and food in Damofalls, Harare, from another suspect Thanks Makore, an uncle to the late seven-year-old boy.
There are four suspects in the case: Thanks Makore, Tapiwa Makore Senior, Moud Hunidzarira and Tafadzwa Shamba.
Hunidzarira was imprisoned at Murehwa Prison, and has been released on RTGS 10,000 (USD70) bail, ZimEye reveals. – MORE FOLLOWS
