Chelsea Hlomayi, the mother of rapper Holy Ten’s first son, has accused the artist and his wife, Kim, of exploiting their ailing child for publicity. The accusations come after the release of Holy Ten’s latest album, Proud Father, on October 14, 2024.
The album cover features Holy Ten with his two sons, Mufaro and Mukudzeyi Junior, who were born just eight months apart. The photos, taken at Skate World in Borrowdale, Harare, show the rapper bonding with his children, a move that received widespread praise online, with many applauding him for being present in both sons’ lives despite them having different mothers.
However, Hlomayi has spoken out against the rapper, alleging that Holy Ten and Kim are using their son, who is reportedly unwell, for personal gain and to promote the new album.
“It’s very unfortunate that you would choose to exploit a sick child for content. A child you have neglected since he was born mukazotya kutukwa nevanhu ma poster cover ine mwana one paye mukati can i “borrow” uyo for a few hours tiite album cover. Even though you knew he was sick at the time i was fine with the album cover being done, thats my child’s inheritance but dzimwe content dzaakubuda idzi Proud Mother my foot.
“We’ve never talked, we’ve never met all i know is what you go around telling people kuti chi bastard mwana wangu. This child would rather use my son to boost her image than to actually show up and show love in real life.
“You don’t owe my son anything but using him just for content is way too low chero iko kubhadhara ma blogger kuti vati hausi Daisy is weird man. Isusu tiri ma ghetto yuts hapana paticharamba tichiti bhoo muchitibhowa, be a good person in real life all this fakeness just for marketing your image is not okay! My son is not a prop!”
