“God Says Forgive Mugabe And Grace”

By Paul Nyathi | Opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) top member who is also a popular radio personality, Eric Knight says that God spoke to him in a vision and told him to tell Zimbabweans to forgive former President Robert Mugabe for all the suffering he brought on them.

Knight who contested and shockingly lost the MDC-T stronghold parliamentary seat in Mbare in the 2013 elections said that God told him to encourage Zimbabweans to also forgive former First Lady Grace Mugabe.

“The voice said to me, encourage people to forgive that man and his wife,” said Knight in a social media Facebook post which has attracted huge attention from Zimbabweans.

“I was one of the most vocal critics of Igwe. Why should I be the one to take the initiative to call for mercy on this man and his wife. The voice told me, just do it because I want people to do it,” he said.

“I know it sounds crazy, ridiculous, weird and foolish you are right. But this is exactly what the Bible says, that God uses foolish things to confound the wise.”

“Ladies and Gentlemen, may we find a place in our hearts to forgive this family. Yes. he was at the helm of so many sinister stories and tales that cost even lives and plunged many souls into unfortunate circumstances but listen, God knows, hears and sees everything as nothing under the sun is hidden from His eyes and ears.”

According to Knight God wants Zimbabweans to pray for the 93 year old Mugabe to live longer in order to see how he could have run the country.

“God wants you and me to pray for him so that He grants him many more years on earth. We need to pray for him so that he lives longer, so that he will witness and see how he could have presided the nation in a better manner, pray for Madam Igwe also so that she lives long enough to witness how future First Ladies handle the role of being national mother.”

“God wants us to forgive them without asking them to apologise first.

“I therefore kindly appeal to everyone, not just Zimbabweans but anyone else in the world who feels hatred and wishes bad things to this couple to forgive and forget for God’s sake.”

  4. Sorry my friend, whatever u are smoking is giving u bad dreams, that’s a very bad dream. How can I forgive Grace for taking my hard earned money from the Ministry of Construction. I paid 600zim dollars every month so I could give my family a roof over their heads, a simple 4 roomed flat I wanted not a villa in Mandara. What did the ruthless hoe do, she took the money and built a 25 million dollar mansion and today I have no roof and u tell me to forgive. Let me do what I can for now and then she and me can both be forgiven by God. In fact you have just angered me, you are an idiot.
