SuperSport United caretaker coach Kaitano Tembo
says his team is determined to avoid the dreaded chop.
Tembo has further indicated that his team is trying to focus on the remaining
games in a bid to avoid relegation.
United are currently in third position from bottom with 27
points from 25 games, three behind Polokwane City
who occupy the bottom position.
“We always have to be positive because we are in
this situation. We have to pick ourselves up and
motivate the players and keep pushing,” Tembo told
SuperSport TV.
“We are trying by all means to focus on our
remaining matches. We will take it game by game and
not try put ourselves under pressure.
We know where we are and we know what we
need to do to get out of the situation. It’s also about
getting that win and maybe that will take us out of
the situation.”
SuperSport United ‘s next assignment will be against
Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.
