By Paul Nyathi|Miriro Tsvangirai sister to the late MDC founding President Morgan Tsvangirai has died.

MDC-T Deputy Treasurer General Charlton Hwende announced in a statement on Facebook on Saturday morning that Miriro died on Friday night.

“Miriro Tsvangirai, sister of our icon, Morgan Tsvangirai, passed away last night. MHSRIP,” said Hwende.

In one of her interviews during Tsvangirai’s long illness, Tsvangirai’s mother, Mbuya Tsvangirai indicated that her daughter was also ill as was the MDC-T leader.
