By Dorrothy Moyo| MDC leader Nelson Chamisa was at the weekend attacked by the state media over speech rhetorics he used during his rally in Harare South.

Chamisa during his last rally before flying to the United Kingdom used a hyperbole in the name of the Queen while explaining his trip.

Beyond the rhetoric, ZimEye can reveal that Chamisa is of a truth being hosted by one of Queen Elizabeth’s Knights. Dr Alex Vines, OBE will be sitting side by side with Chamisa on Tuesday at Chatham House in London. ZimEye will cover the function as it progresses.

The Oxford thesaurus describes a rhetoric as a tool used in the art of effective speaking or writing, especially the exploitation of figures of speech and other compositional techniques.

The Sunday Mail however says Chamisa was lying when he used the term, “Queen” to describe his UK visit.

The paper extract reads in part: the leader of a faction of the MDC-T, Mr Nelson Chamisa, has once again been caught out lying to the nation, this time after claiming he had been personally invited to the United Kingdom by Queen Elizabeth II.
