By Paul Nyathi|Firebrand MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa was on Sunday involved in a scary mishap when a makeshift platform he was standing on collapsed as he was about to address a rally in Hwange.

The platform gave as Chamisa was joined on stage by about ten senior party members in song and dance.

Chamisa escaped the incident without any injuries. Party supporters who witnessed the incident expressed concern at the risky situation Chamisa was exposed to.
