A Zanu PF activist in Zaka District has been arrested for contravening the Electoral Act (chapter 2:13).

According to police sources in Zaka, Lydia Rugede was arrested for tearing MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa’s posters.

Rugede also destroyed Zaka East MDC Alliance candidate James Gumbi’s posters at Benzi Business Centre last weekend.

The matter was reported under RRB number 3528803 and CR number 53/07/18.
