An elderly Zanu PF supporter has been hospitalised after being hit by a ruling party official’ s vehicle.

Ruling party sources claimed Lilian Magade from Chief Charumbira’ s area sustained serious injuries after being hit by Zanu PF Provincial Chairperson Ezra Chadzamira’ s vehicle at a party rally last week.

Magade would not disclose whose motor vehicle hit her.

Ruling party sources said: “Magade is lucky to be alive after being hit by Chadzamira’ s vehicle at a party rally last week.

She sustained serious head injuries following the incident,” a party official said.

Chadzamira was not immediately available for a comment on the matter.
