By Terrence Mawawa| A state run paper has alleged that cracks have emerged in the MDC-Alliance barely three days after President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s controversial win in the July 30 harmonised elections.

The paper claimed that there are serious clashes over former President Robert Mugabe’ s role in the coalition.

The paper has further claimed that officials in the MDC-Alliance are baying for coalition leader Nelson Chamisa’s head, blaming him for the party’s embarrassing loss reminiscent of 2013 when he was the organising secretary.

“My opposition to Mugabe is known in the party. I did not like Mugabe. I have opposed working with him. I think Mugabe is a kiss of death. I still maintain that,” MDC Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora said in an interview with the state run publication.
