By Own Correspondent| Four people are feared dead following an explosion at GMB Lion’s Den in Mashonaland West.

Several other workers were also reportedly injured in the blast whose source was not yet confirmed by the time of writing.

However, sources privy to the developments at GMB said the explosion could have been caused by an electrical fault.

So deadly was the explosion that huge pallets of concrete were blown away several meters away from the source of the blast.

One man, suspected to have been affected by carbon monoxide while attempting to rescue people affected in the explosion was reportedly taken to hospital.

Rescue efforts and the retrieval of burnt bodies are currently underway.
