By Own Correspondent| The Women’s Assembly of the Nelson Chamisa led MDC T has issued a message of condolence to the country and the Stevenson family following the death of Zimbabwean Ambassador to Senegal and the Gambia, Trudy Stevenson.

Stevenson, one of the MDC founding members died in Dakar, Senegal last Friday.

Said the MDC T Women’s Assembly:

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FOR TRUDY STEVENSON

The MDC Assembly of Women has learnt with great shock the death of Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Senegal and the Gambia, Ms Trudy Stevenson.

Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel for the passing of Ambassador Stevenson who was reportedly found dead at her residence in Dakar, Senegal on Friday 24 August 2018. She was 73.

She was a founding member of MDC and was appointed Ambassador to Senegal and the Gambia during the inclusive Government.

May her soul Rest In Peace.
