Terrence Mawawa|The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has cancelled the consultation day during the third term of the school calendar as part of precautions to combat the deadly cholera epidemic.

This term the consultation day usually known as the visiting has been suspended as a result of advice from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

“Basing on advice we got from the Ministry of Health and Child Care, we decided to suspend the consultation day,” an official in the Ministry said in an interview with ZimEye.com.

However parents have vowed to resist the move.
