Zimbabwe suffered a huge setback before the half-hour mark when the big goalkeeper got injured and had to be replaced by Edmore Sibanda.

Nonetheless, the Warriors regrouped and retained possession for the remainder of the game as they sought to restore the lead, but nothing came out of it.The teams went to the break tied at 1-1.
