By Own Correspondent| Opposition MDC leader Nelson Chamisa has reacted to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s chilling threats that he will deal with protests by sending the army to silence them arguing that such action is a crime against humanity.
Chamisa acussed Mnangagwa and Zanu Pf of infiltrating peaceful protests in order to justify army crackdown and killing of civilians adding that all this shall end as the people will one day have their freedom.
He said:
Sending the army to kill the people is a crime against humanity. The people whom Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa refers to as having burned cars and police stations are Zanu pf members who infiltrated the peaceful protests in order for you to justify crackdown. You and your party commit crimes so that you murder innocent civilians. Not good at all but trust me, nothing goes on and on forever. The people shall have their freedom.
