The Movement for Democratic Change – Alliance USA Province would want to go on record in confirming and endorsing the Presidency of Advocate Nelson Chamisa as the current President of the Movement for Democratic Change – Alliance until the scheduled National Congress and further endorse him as our Presidential candidate in the forthcoming National Congress to be held in October 2019.

It is from his indefatigable fight for democracy, freedom, peace, equality, rule of law, human rights and patriotism for both Party and nation that we resolutely stand by Advocate Nelson Chamisa as our current president and presidential candidate at the forthcoming national congress. Further to his decorated heroism in championing the fight against tyranny and despotism in Zimbabwe, President Nelson Chamisa is assiduous in pointing the best way forward for our Party and nation and we are unwaveringly assured that he is the best candidate to take us forward.

Above all that matters, Advocate Nelson Chamisa proved his credence from Zimbabweans across the political divide by winning the popular vote in the past Harmonised Elections where he amassed an enormous 2.6 million votes. Hence it is the desire of the Province to build on the traction and saleability of the candidature of Advocate Nelson Chamisa, so we do hereby endorse him as our candidate at the forthcoming MDC-Alliance National Congress in October 2019.

We faithfully anticipate a smooth Congress preparation and conclusion of it.
