By Farai D Hove| The state owned broadcaster, ZBC announced Emmerson Mnangagwa’s deputy Constantino Chiwenga’s return Saturday evening.

ZBC however used an old picture that dates back to October 2018. In the picture is Chiwenga with his wife, and ZimEye reveals this picture was first uploaded on the internet on the 25th October 2018 (see the scan results below).

Scores of Zimbabweans chided the state broadcaster saying they were misleading the nation. Presidential spokesman George Charamba said Chiwenga has fully recovered.

Charamba, quoted by the state media, said:”The Vice President returned this evening after a successful treatment. He has fully recovered and is raring to go.”
The report said, Chiwenga was accompanied by his wife, Mary, and Health and Child Care Deputy Minister Dr John Mangwiro.
