Opinion By Charles Frank|Sometimes democracy comes as lemon and lemon juice can be turned sweet into a lemonade. In the movement’s upcoming congress we can then choose to elect certain leaders even fully knowing that they are suspected Zanu-PF spies.

It has been promulgated, postulated, assumed and even their behavior has shown that they are likely working with enemy that we want to destroy. It is therefore time that we show these hypocrites out by not voting them.

The upcoming MDC Congress is the right opportunity for the movement to cleanse itself and come out with a strong formidable team that can oust Zanu of hegemony out of power.

It’s now or never for the movement of democratic change.

The elective congress on May 24 would give our movement an opportunity to flash out spies, half-hearted cadres and sellouts. Some people in the movement have been labeled government spies and have worked with security services.

These must not be allowed to have posts in the movement if we are to wrestle power from Zanu-PF.

The question I always ask myself is why have we remained so foolish enough and failed to conquer the demons in our face. We have seen the evil staring at us but we want to allow it to devour us some more. We can’t see that some people are only with us to destroy us.

Ncube and Biti are not good for our movement. They did a great damage to the movement and looted assets in the form of vehicles and cash respectively but yet they have hoodwinked us again.

Today they are aiming at the jagular,that is the Vice-Presidency of MDC. Surely it would be out of sinc if we elected these Judases back into the party. They had destroyed us before and today they are back. This they would do again and again if we don’t stand firm and stop voting for them in the upcoming congress.

We have an option as the real MDC to say no to sellouts. We have a candidate for the Vice-Presidency. A man of stature, true genuine MDC red blood. A man who has given his whole life to the struggle.

A man who would bring the change we want. A man whose record is not soiled. This is non other than Hon Felix Mafa a man of the struggle.

The upcoming congress should elect the best team that would match Zanu-PF man to man. As the real MDC we can fail the people once more by electing mediocre and hypocrites. Together we can bring the change we want.
