Correspondent|President Emmerson Mnangagwa has picked former MDC legislator for Mabvuku-Tafara James Maridadi to be an ambassador.
While it is yet to be revealed where Maridadi will be deployed to, the former ZBC disc jockey was among 15 ambassador-designates and 23 Junior Officers who attended a Diplomatic Training Programme for Foreign Affairs & International Trade Officers today.
Since losing the MDC primary elections and eventually the national elections where he bulldozed himself as a duplicate candidate, Maridadi has been following Mnangagwa’s events and attending them diligently.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Trade Lieutenant General (retired) S.B Moyo who gave a keynote address on Zimbabwe’s Foreign Policy.
