MaShurugwi “Soldier Murderers” Appear Before The Courts

By Own Correspondent- Informal miners who allegedly murdered two soldiers in a fight over sex workers in Bindura last week have been hauled to court facing murder charges.
The duo Alexio Gumbato (36) and Job Chitsvimbo whose age was not given, are part of a gang of gold panners called MaShurugwi and they appeared in court on Wednesday and were remanded in custody.
The deceased, Shaw Tizora (33) and Tawanda Garega (35) were killed using knives while their third colleague is reportedly critical and is admitted at Bindura Provincial Hospital.
