Farai Dziva|Former Cabinet Minister Jonathan Moyo has revealed that Patrick Chinamasa oversaw the drafting of the draconian Public Order and Security Act (POSA).

Moyo has denied POSA is his baby.The former Zanu PF strategist stands accused of crafting POSA and the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act(AIPPA) to silence dissenting voices.

“While John Nkomo was home affairs minister, it’s Patrick Chinamasa as Justice minister who oversaw the drafting of POSA, presented and defended it in the Cabinet Committee on Legislation, which he chaired; and who tabled and argued for it in Cabinet and later steered it in Parliament, ” Moyo tweeted.
