By Own Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has hired a private plane for former leader Robert Mugabe who is set to travel to Malaysia today.

Information gathered by ZimEye revealed that Mugabe is set to travel this afternoon to the Asian country to seek medical treatment.

However, the costs of the chartered aircraft is not yet known. The move to hire the plane is part of an arrangement by Mnangagwa where he pledged to take care of Mugabe as part of his exit package from the presidency.

Mnangagwa is on record saying that “Mugabe is well taken care of” and that the former leader deserved everyone’s respect for his role in liberating Zimbabwe.
