By A Correspondent- Rumors of adultery and infidelity circulating on social media about the former Upper Room Ministries preacher have been dispelled by close people who witnessed circumstances leading to the death.

Dambaza’s maid, who stayed with the family for almost two years at their Borrowdale home, revealed how she lived under the now-deceased pastor.

“I don’t know what to say about this but I will tell you that for all the time I have lived with them, I have never seen any sad day because they were always happy.

“They are a happy family, all the children seemed happy around him and since the time I’ve been here, I learned a lot from them.

“Pastor Dambaza and his wife changed my life and I don’t know how to repay them.

“To tell you the truth, I’ve never seen them fighting or quarreling and I’m forever grateful to them,” she said.

Dambaza’s last born son Oracle was devastated and could not even bring himself to talk to H-Metro.

Neighbors who spoke to H-Metro said they often interacted with the late pastor when he went out to do his work.

“It’s so sad because we were like friends with the pastor, I think people should regularly have counseling services when facing life challenges,” said Moses the neighbor.

“Some two weeks ago I heard others saying the pastor was having some issues and people noticed a change in him but he was just a good person,” said another neighbor who spoke on condition of anonymity.

A relative who spoke to this publication confirmed the death of the mother to the late preacher who died yesterday at around 8 am.

Dambaza was married to Sithembeni Dambaza an assistant pastor at the church.

They have two daughters (Oreen and Oretha) and two sons (Osborne and Oracle).

Unconfirmed reports circulating suggest the suicide is attributed to financial issues emanating from debts or misappropriation of funds.
